Custom embroidered patches in United Kingdom

Made to order, shipped from Dubai to United Kingdom. Quotes in AED, GBP or your currency.

Thread stitched onto a twill backing — the oldest patch method and still the most recognisable. An embroidered patch has real texture: you can feel the design under your thumb, and the raised stitching catches light in a way no printed surface does.

What does United Kingdom order?

British demand runs to regimental and association badges, scouting and cadet groups, and motorcycle club colours, where the three-piece back patch is still the standard.

  • Regiments and associations ordering formation badges and challenge coins
  • Motorcycle clubs ordering back patches, rockers and centre pieces
  • Scout groups, schools and sports clubs ordering badges in quantity
  • Companies ordering branded pins, keyrings and uniform patches

Order early for Remembrance Day (11 November) — these are the busiest weeks of the year and the queue is first come, first served.

Why choose embroidered patches?

  • Texture you can feelRaised stitching gives the badge depth and a physical quality. On a uniform or a club jacket that is most of the point.
  • Built to be worn hardThread on twill survives repeated washing, weather and years of wear better than any printed surface.
  • Colours that stay putThe colour is the thread itself rather than ink sitting on a surface, so it does not fade the way print does.
  • No minimum orderEmbroidered patches have no minimum quantity. Order one to see it in the hand before committing to a run.

What else do we make for this market?

United Kingdom flag patches — The Union Flag: the crosses of St George, St Andrew and St Patrick combined. The white diagonals are deliberately asymmetric, which is why it can be flown upside down.

Questions we get asked

Question not answered here? Message us and a real person will answer. Ask us →
Detail How small can lettering go on an embroidered patch?

Small text is the first thing to suffer in embroidery, because each letter has to be built from stitches with a real width. If your design has fine print, send it over and we will tell you honestly whether it will read at the size you want — and if it will not, woven is usually the answer.

Durability Will the colours fade?

The colour is the thread, not ink on top of it, so embroidered patches hold their colour through washing and sunlight far longer than printed ones.

Edges What is the difference between a merrowed and a laser-cut border?

A merrowed border is the thick overlocked edge you see on classic round and shield patches. A laser-cut edge follows any outline exactly, which is what makes irregular shapes possible.

Minimums Is there a minimum order?

Not for embroidered patches. Order a single piece if you want to see it before committing to a run.

Lead time How long does an order take?

Production runs 3 to 6 business days, counted from the moment you approve the proof — not from when you place the order. Shipping is on top of that and depends on the destination and the service you choose.

Timing When does the clock start?

At proof approval. Nothing is cut, stitched or struck until you have seen the digital proof and said yes, so a slow approval moves the finish date with it.

Destinations Where do you ship?

We make to order and ship from Dubai across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain, and to the United States and United Kingdom. Ask us for anywhere else — it is usually possible.

Minimums Is there a minimum order?

Not on embroidered patches — order one if one is what you need. Moulded and struck lines carry a minimum because they need tooling, and the quote states it before you commit to anything.

File types What artwork do you need from me?

Vector is ideal — AI, EPS or PDF. We also take PNG, JPG, WEBP, TIFF, PSD, GIF and ZIP, and honestly a clear photograph of a sketch is enough to quote from and start on.

No artwork What if I do not have artwork yet?

Send the idea — a rough drawing, a reference you like, or a description. We draw it up and send it back as a proof for you to approve before anything is made.

Proofs Do I see it before it is made?

Always. You get a free digital proof and nothing goes into production until you approve it. If it is not right, say so and we change it.

Contact How do I reach a person?

WhatsApp on +971 52 933 2878 is fastest, or email info@custompik.com. A person answers — there is no ticket queue between you and the people making the thing.

Quotes How do I get a price?

Send the artwork and the quantity and we come back with a fixed quote. Nothing on this site is charged automatically and you pay nothing up front.

Problems What if something arrives wrong?

Tell us and send a photograph. The proof you approved is the reference — if what arrived does not match it, that is on us to put right.
