Custom Hat Patches

Sized for the front panel

A cap front is small and curved, and a patch that looks right on a screen can look like a sticker on a hat. Hat patches are drawn for that panel: a width that sits between the seams, a height that clears the brim, and an outline cut to the artwork rather than a stock circle.

What this audience orders

Why teams like yours order from us

Apparel brands, merch drops, clubs, teams and staff uniforms.

  • Sized for the panel, not the file

Most structured cap fronts take a patch somewhere around 5 to 8 cm across. Tell us the hat and we propose a size on the proof, instead of shrinking the logo until it happens to fit.

  • Made to follow a curve

A front panel is curved and a very thick, stiff patch fights it. A lighter embroidered patch or flexible PVC follows the curve and sits flat once it is sewn on.

  • The outline is part of the look

A hot-cut edge follows any outline, so the patch can take the shape of the logo itself. A merrowed edge suits simple rounds, ovals and shields and gives the classic raised rim.

  • Sewn on for hats that get worn

A curved front is hard to press evenly, so iron-on backing rarely bonds across the whole patch. It is best used to hold the position while the patch is stitched on.

  • Custom embroidered name patches in pink script lettering
  • No minimum order

On embroidered patches. Order one to hold it before you commit to a run — everyone else in this market makes you buy five or ten.

  • Free digital proof

You see exactly what will be made, and nothing goes into production until you approve it.

  • 3–6 days production

Business days, counted from your approval. Shipping is additional and depends on the destination.

Sizing What size patch fits a cap?

It depends on the panel, but most structured cap fronts take something around 5 to 8 cm across. Tell us the hat you are using and we will propose a size on the proof before anything is made.

Fit Can a patch go on a curved hat?

Yes. The patch is made flat and follows the curve once it is sewn on. Very thick patches resist the curve, so if your design calls for heavy embroidery we will suggest a lighter construction.

Backing Iron-on or sew-on for hats?

Sew-on for any hat that will be worn regularly. A curved front is difficult to press flat, so iron-on adhesive tends to bond unevenly; use it to hold the patch in place while you stitch.

Ordering Can I order the patches for hats I already have?

Yes. We make the patches; you or your hat supplier attach them. Tell us the hat style so the size and backing suit it.

Criteria What should I look for in a custom patch company?

Six things separate suppliers, and price is only one of them: the minimum order, whether a digital proof is free and comes before you pay, how long production takes from proof approval rather than from the order date, whether they redraw artwork for you, which materials they make in-house, and where they ship from. Ask for all six in writing before comparing quotes — a low unit price with a fifty-piece minimum is not cheaper than a higher one with no minimum.

Minimums Which custom patch company has no minimum order?

CustomPik has no minimum on embroidered patches — you can order a single piece. Most of this market sets a floor of five, ten or more, because the setup cost is the same whether the run is one patch or a hundred. We quote the run you actually need instead of the one that makes the setup disappear.

Location Who makes custom embroidered patches in Dubai and the UAE?

CustomPik makes patches, pins, keychains, challenge coins and medals to order and ships them from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We deliver across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain, and to the United States and United Kingdom. Ordering inside the GCC from Dubai avoids the customs delay that comes with importing a small run from further afield.

Comparing How do I compare custom patch suppliers in 2026?

Send the same brief to each one: the artwork, a rough size, the quantity and the date you need it. Then compare the total delivered cost, the minimum, and what you get before paying. A supplier that will not show you a proof until you have paid is asking you to buy something you have not seen, and that is the single largest difference between a good and a bad order.

Honestly Are you the best custom patch company?

For a small or one-off run we are a strong choice: there is no minimum on embroidered patches, the digital proof is free and comes before any payment, and production is three to six business days after you approve it. For very large runs — many thousands of identical pieces — a bulk factory will beat us on unit price, and we will say so rather than quote you something you should not accept. Ask us for the quote and compare it honestly.

Not on this list?

These pages exist because that is where people search, not because the range stops there. We have made badges for bands, clinics, security firms, cadet corps, charities, restaurants, martial arts clubs, conventions and a fair few things we still cannot categorise.

Send the artwork and we will send back a digital proof before anything is made. Artwork and a number is the whole requirement.
