The six things that actually differ
Ask every supplier for all six in writing. The answers are what a quote means; the number on its own is not comparable.

Minimum order
Ask for the real floor, per material. Setup costs the same for one piece or a hundred, which is why most suppliers set a minimum of five, ten or more. If you need twelve, a supplier with a fifty-piece floor is not an option at any price.

Proof before payment
A digital proof shows the piece as it will be produced, at size, with the backing and edge you chose. Ask whether it is free and whether it comes before or after you pay. Being asked to pay before seeing it is the largest single difference between a good and a bad order.

Production time, measured honestly
The number that matters is days from proof approval, not from when you placed the order, and it does not include shipping. Suppliers quoting a short lead time from order date are usually counting the days before you have approved anything.

Artwork and design
Ask whether they redraw artwork for production and what it costs. Screen artwork is not a stitch path or a mould, and someone has to rebuild it at the size it will be made. If that is billed separately, add it to the quote before comparing.

Materials made in-house
A supplier who only embroiders will steer a design that needs fine detail into embroidery anyway. Ask which materials they actually produce, so the recommendation you get is about your artwork rather than their machines.

Where it ships from
Origin decides the delivery window and whether a small run gets held in customs. For a GCC buyer, ordering from inside the region avoids the import delay that comes with a small shipment from further afield.

When we are not the right choice
For very large runs of one identical piece — many thousands — a bulk factory will beat us on unit price, and we would rather say so than quote you something you should not accept. We are built for the runs that are too small for that factory to want: a twelve-person roster, a club, a unit, a one-off sample before you commit to a batch. If your order is genuinely enormous, ask us anyway and we will tell you honestly where we land.
Which material will hold your design?
The honest constraint is detail. A mark that works on a screen does not automatically survive being stitched at 60mm, and the material decides how much of it survives. This is what we weigh up on the proof.

Vector is ideal — AI, EPS or PDF. We also take PNG, JPG, WEBP, TIFF, PSD, GIF and ZIP, and honestly a clear photograph of a sketch is enough to quote from and start on.
No artwork What if I do not have artwork yet?
Send the idea — a rough drawing, a reference you like, or a description. We draw it up and send it back as a proof for you to approve before anything is made.
Proofs Do I see it before it is made?
