Anime & pop culture
Your artwork, made real
Flat colour, hard outlines and fine line work — anime-style art has a look that survives being turned into thread and enamel better than most, provided the line weight is set for the size before production rather than after.
Artists, conventions, small labels and communities.
What this audience orders
Why teams like yours order from us
-
Line work that survives the size
The outline that reads on a screen is often thinner than a stitch can hold. We set the line weight for the finished size and show you on the proof, so the face does not close up at 70mm.
-
Flat colour suits both processes
Cel-style flats translate cleanly to embroidery and to enamel. Gradients do not — for those we would print rather than pretend thread can blend.
-
Runs sized for a convention table
Fifty pins for a table, not five thousand for a warehouse. The quote is built on the number you can actually sell.
-
Hard enamel for pin collectors
Collectors know the difference. Hard enamel is polished flat and holds detail; soft enamel is cheaper and has recessed colour. We will tell you which your artwork wants.
-
No minimum order
On embroidered patches. Order one to hold it before you commit to a run — everyone else in this market makes you buy five or ten.
-
Free digital proof
You see exactly what will be made, and nothing goes into production until you approve it.
-
3–6 days production
Business days, counted from your approval. Shipping is additional and depends on the destination.
Questions we get asked
Artwork Can you make a patch of a character from a show?
Only from artwork you have the right to use. Characters from published series are somebody else's intellectual property, and we produce what the customer is entitled to supply. Original art in that style is entirely yours to make.
Pins Hard or soft enamel?
Hard enamel is polished level with the metal and holds fine detail — the usual choice for collectors. Soft enamel leaves the colour recessed below the lines, costs less and has a texture some people prefer. Send the art and we will recommend one.
Colour My design has gradients. Will that work?
Not in thread or enamel, both of which are flat colour by nature. Printed or sublimated patches carry gradients properly, and we would move you to those rather than approximate a blend badly.
Proofing Can I get a sample before the full run?
You get a digital proof with every order before production starts. For a physical sample ahead of a large run, ask — it is worth it when the run is big enough that a surprise would hurt.
Lead time How long does an order take?
Production runs 3 to 6 business days, counted from the moment you approve the proof — not from when you place the order. Shipping is on top of that and depends on the destination and the service you choose.
Timing When does the clock start?
At proof approval. Nothing is cut, stitched or struck until you have seen the digital proof and said yes, so a slow approval moves the finish date with it.
Destinations Where do you ship?
We make to order and ship from Dubai across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain, and to the United States and United Kingdom. Ask us for anywhere else — it is usually possible.
Minimums Is there a minimum order?
Not on embroidered patches — order one if one is what you need. Moulded and struck lines carry a minimum because they need tooling, and the quote states it before you commit to anything.
File types What artwork do you need from me?
Vector is ideal — AI, EPS or PDF. We also take PNG, JPG, WEBP, TIFF, PSD, GIF and ZIP, and honestly a clear photograph of a sketch is enough to quote from and start on.
No artwork What if I do not have artwork yet?
Send the idea — a rough drawing, a reference you like, or a description. We draw it up and send it back as a proof for you to approve before anything is made.
Proofs Do I see it before it is made?
Always. You get a free digital proof and nothing goes into production until you approve it. If it is not right, say so and we change it.
Contact How do I reach a person?
WhatsApp on +971 52 933 2878 is fastest, or email info@custompik.com. A person answers — there is no ticket queue between you and the people making the thing.
Quotes How do I get a price?
Send the artwork and the quantity and we come back with a fixed quote. Nothing on this site is charged automatically and you pay nothing up front.
Problems What if something arrives wrong?
Tell us and send a photograph. The proof you approved is the reference — if what arrived does not match it, that is on us to put right.
Not on this list?
These pages exist because that is where people search, not because the range stops there. We have made badges for bands, clinics, security firms, cadet corps, charities, restaurants, martial arts clubs, conventions and a fair few things we still cannot categorise.
Send the artwork and we will send back a digital proof before anything is made. Artwork and a number is the whole requirement.
