Where it is the wrong choice
Adhesive is not a laundry backing. On anything that gets washed, use sew-on, iron-on or velcro instead.
Choose velcro patches instead if it is going on a garment and needs to come off again.
How to apply it
- Clean the surface and let it dry completely. Adhesive fails on dust and grease long before it fails on time.
- Peel the liner and position the patch — you get one go at this.
- Press firmly across the whole face for about 30 seconds, working from the centre outwards to push the air out.
Washing and care
Keep it out of the wash entirely. Adhesive backing is for cases, lockers, helmets and display boards, not for laundry.
Questions we get asked
Lifespan How long does the adhesive last?
Indefinitely on a clean hard surface indoors. Outdoors, heat and UV shorten it, and on anything flexible it will lift at the edges first.
Removal Can it be removed?
It peels off, usually leaving residue that needs a solvent. It is not designed to be reusable — if a badge needs to move, velcro is the right backing.
Lead time How long does an order take?
Production runs 3 to 6 business days, counted from the moment you approve the proof — not from when you place the order. Shipping is on top of that and depends on the destination and the service you choose.
Timing When does the clock start?
At proof approval. Nothing is cut, stitched or struck until you have seen the digital proof and said yes, so a slow approval moves the finish date with it.
Destinations Where do you ship?
We make to order and ship from Dubai across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain, and to the United States and United Kingdom. Ask us for anywhere else — it is usually possible.
Minimums Is there a minimum order?
Not on embroidered patches — order one if one is what you need. Moulded and struck lines carry a minimum because they need tooling, and the quote states it before you commit to anything.
File types What artwork do you need from me?
Vector is ideal — AI, EPS or PDF. We also take PNG, JPG, WEBP, TIFF, PSD, GIF and ZIP, and honestly a clear photograph of a sketch is enough to quote from and start on.
No artwork What if I do not have artwork yet?
Send the idea — a rough drawing, a reference you like, or a description. We draw it up and send it back as a proof for you to approve before anything is made.
Proofs Do I see it before it is made?
Always. You get a free digital proof and nothing goes into production until you approve it. If it is not right, say so and we change it.
